Mirror Image was started in Tunbridge Wells, Kent by Emma Collie in 2003. Over the years we have photographed hundreds of families, parties and dancers and have blended our style of modern but classic photography.

“I grew up with film photography and used to watch my Dad developing his films in his homemade darkroom. I had a camera from a young age and studied photography at school.
We moved the studio from Tunbridge Wells to Mayfield in East Sussex. We love being out of town and having the option of a beautiful outdoor space too.
We get a real buzz from our clients reactions when they come in to view their images. It is a privilege to create memories that will last a lifetime. As a Mum, I appreciate how quickly our children change and grow up and the importance of capturing those precious moments."

I have worked with Emma at mirror image for over fifteen years. Throughout this journey, I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people and being welcomed into their world at some of their distinctive life moments. So many clients return year after year and I have had the privilege of watching many children grow and families develop.
Three years ago my Son was born and now I really understand how important photographs are!

“I had such a fun time with Emma and Sian last week. And what lovely girls they are, and very professional. The session was a surprise birthday present from my husband (he had even bought the outfits for me to wear without consulting me!) I hate having my photo taken, but by the end I was strutting my stuff and larking around. The photos are amazing. We had a lot of laughs. Thank you both so much for creating some memories!”
